As an online business owner, I believe one of your main goals is to provide excellent customer service to your subscribers and clients. By simple provide excellent customer service to your clients chances are they will become recurring customers and buy from you over and over again.

But in order to have a list of raving fans you first need to generate traffic to your optin forms or product pages. The idea here is to entice many of your visitors to join your mailing list, newsletter by offering them something of real value.

Ok so you’re just starting out and you’re looking to build your list but you don’t really want to spend a whole lot of money to build it.

No worries here’s a couple free ways to you can use to generate traffic to your signup form:

The first thing we want to look at is forums within your niche. Why forums well because it’s most likely where your target customer will be spending a lot of time talk and discussing things in that niche.

The key to getting traffic is to have what is called a signature file so every time you post or reply to a thread your signature file is shown with your link leading back to your blog or website where you give away something of real value like an ebook or multimedia product.

Another great way to get free traffic is to do something that is called Article marketing or Bummarketing.
This is fairly simple to do, what it’s all about is you submit your articles to articles directories and every time someone sees your articles or publish your article in their newsletter or ezine your byline is shown.

These aren’t some new fly by night techniques, they have been around for awhile now and have always
worked. As I said they haven’t changed much and with the new web2.0 sites all over the place that are
willing to give up traffic at no cost. Sites like Hubpages.com and Squidoo.com, Youtube.com, Myspace.com
Twitter.com to name a few.

The great thing about these techniques as I said are they are FREE.

Again please leave your comments or feedback i greatly appreciate it… cheers
