Shortcut for the Successful Affiliate Marketer

What are the 2 ingredients needed to become a successful
Affiliate Marketer?

What makes a good affiliate marketing success story?

Is there really a shortcut to Affiliate Marketing glory?

These are just some of the major questions that plays
around in the minds of almost affiliate marketers who
want to make it big in this business.

Affiliate marketing is look upon as one of the easiest
and most effective ways to earn an extra income online,
but it's not as easy as everyone makes it out to be.

The wise affiliate marketer makes his/her master plan
and takes massive action and executes it the best way
he can. In order to maximize your potential earnings
running a successful Affiliate Marketing Business one
must utilizing the right tools.

I have spoken and listened to some of the most successful
affiliate marketers in the business and below are the top two
necessary tools for a successful affiliate marketing business.

Important Tool #1: Your Own Domain And Website

The most important and indispensable tool in Affiliate
Marketing is your own domain and website. The first step
in any successful affiliate marketing business is building
a good, credible and professional looking website. Your
website is the jump off point of all your marketing efforts.

Thus, you must first build a user-friendly website, which will
appeal to your prospects and encourage them to click on
the links to the products and service you are promoting and
make a purchase. Therefore, you must first concentrate
your efforts in building a website that will cater to what your
prospects need and the niche you're working in.

The most important thing you should consider is that
almost all web users go online to look for information,
not necessarily to go and buy something. Above all else,
make your website full of original, relevant and useful
content. People will love articles that are appealing and
helpful.

Keep in mind that, in the Internet, content is still king
and good quality content will not only build your credibility,
it can also help you achieve a higher search engine ranking.

By posting relevant and useful articles, you establish
yourself as a credible expert in the field, making you a
more trustworthy endorser of the product or service you
promote. Establishing a good reputation is a good step in
building up a loyal consumer base.

Important Tool #2: Incentives

Competition is extremely tight in the Internet world and
in affiliate marketing it's the most competitive. You must
always be one or two steps ahead of your rivals to ensure
that you capture a significant share of your target market.

Therefore, you must use every possible means to encourage
people not only to visit your site but also to click and
proceed to the websites of the products and services you
are promoting. Building an opt-in email list is by far one
of the best ways to gather prospects.

By offering an incentive to encourage your prospects to
subscribe to your newsletters or ezine. You can offer
a free ebook in the niche you are working in or software,
video course or audio recordings in order for them to gain
access to your exclusive services that will be helpful to
your prospects.

This is two of the many tools that an affiliate marketer
can use to maximize earning potential. The possibilities
are endless and are only limited by your imagination,
creativity, resourcefulness and determination.

  1. It is the play of wealth, those who are at zero investment cannot succeed as they cannot get their domain registered and upload it, results are virtual until you spend money.
Until now, I did not find any website who encourages on “Pay as you earn basis”

  2. Hey Syed,

I don’t believe that because people have money to invest cannot make it as an affiliate marketer.

If you don’t the money the you have to use other means like maybe free resources. Listen guys most of the shit that are selling online you can pick up for free if you have the time to look so if you don’t the money right now use free stuff it works.

So don’t tell me you need money to make things work, I’ve see people that had nothing just the cloths on there backs and they turn things around because they were willing to work for it.

But if you have that doesn’t mean you are going to succed in anyway shape for or size, you could have shitloads of money but if you don’t know how to make it work for you most likely you’ll just end up spending spending and not getting anywhere.

And thanks for the rating and psoting…lol :-)

  3. Important Tool #3: A List!

A subscriber list is a must. Period.

When building your business, every aspect should streamline your activities into building a list of subscribers.

There are many varied views on how big your list should be. The bigger the better?
Not necessarily – a small laser-targeted list of proven buyers is far more valuable than thousands of ‘freebie-seekers’, who don’t want to part with a dime!

You can begin your list building efforts on a very
low budget – or even no budget at all. A simple ‘squeeze page’ leading to an affiliate product enables you to collect email addreses.
You now have the foundations to develop a rapport
    with your prospects and customers.

Treat them well, earn their trust and they will buy from you. Treat them badly, fill their inboxes with ‘buy me’ adverts, from morning ’til night and the chances are most will unsubscribe and go elsewhere.

  4. Hey Steph,

that is such a great post I love your insight and how you laid it out brilliant.

Money is just another tool and if used right it can get you ahead of a lot of other people but if you don’t no cost stuff isn’t bad either…

If you don’t have the cash to start a PPC then start by going to your favorite forum and if they allow you to have a sigfile put your website details in there and have a landing page to collect subscribers.

Next step is to be active in the forum answer and ask questions, give feedback, help others pretty soon you’ll be getting traffic from the forum..

This is just a quick tip.

  5. Hey David,

Thanks for your kind words! I love that ‘money is just another tool’.

A quick tip I forgot to mention – if you search around, you will come across sites who will let you signup for a totally free hosting account. They will add the odd banner or two to your pages, but they usually throw in a sub-domain for free. Once the cash is flowing, you can simply upgrade to a paid service, without ads.

So, you Can get a webpage online and working for you – for nothing.

  6. Hello David,
And you are right. Take money out the picture and brain power has to kick in. I’ve had the same 60 readers on my ‘free’ blog since October 2005 and just now started doing some ‘soft’ marketing to them…scared the hell out of me when 10 of them bought something! It’s not about ‘money’ it comes down to taking action and getting in the game. Monday morning quarterbacks are everywhere – the guys on the field getting beat-up, banged-up and bleeding are the ones who get the prize. Keep it real!
